This edge seal guarantees that when a NEXUS touches a wall it gets a perfect seal but it also ensures that no damage is done to the surfaces of the building. Just like the topper of the NEXUS and the UDC, the edge seal is really just one big pillow. This edge seal also houses the patch for the NEXUS bladders. A peel and stick, not messy glues, patch that works with the bladders and the outer shell in the unlikely event that damage is done to either. The edge seal further functions with the UDC to make it possible to create a reliable seal when using the UDC as a stand alone unit (not supported by a NEXUS).
